Our final by James Kilmartin

It was our Under12 Hurling final in Rath at 11am on Sunday the 30th of September. We were playing Shinrone. In the first half we were down a point in the first five minutes. Then we got a goal. The goal was scored by Daniel Mahon and then Dylan Murray hit over a point. But then Shinrone hit over a point along with two frees. Shinrone hit over four points before half time. The score at half time was Kilcormac/Killoughey 1:2 and Shinrone 0:5. In the second half we were a point up. Cillian Kiely hit over another free but Shinrone responded with another. Shinrone had a score of 0:6 and we were 1:3. The time was nearly up and it was a draw match. In the last minute Shinrone got a free and put it over the bar. The referee blew the whistle and Shinrone won the cup.

My school report by Daniel Mahon

Broughall v's Coolinarney
On Tuesday the 18th of September Broughall played Coolinarney in Kilcormac. It was a school football game. Our coach Christy Hand refereed the game. It was a very exciting game. At half time the score was 3:5 to 0:7. After half time Coolinarney got tired and couldnt keep up with the strong Broughall team.
The Broughall team was Jerome, Oisin, Niall, Anthony, JK, Fabian, Brian, Daniel, Tony. We scored a couple of goals and points. We won the game. After the game we shook hands. Coolinarney are a very strong team. I hope to meet them again.
