Sport make you fit and lose weight.
There are different sports like boxing camogie football running.
Golf hockey swimming basketball and rugby.
I know a few Irish sports women like Katie Taylor Dervdla O'Rourke Sonia Sullivan Pauline Curly Mary O'Connor Michelle Davis and Emer Dermody.
They are all famous sports players some people are from the Olympics you can train in the gym you can practice at a wall or on a punching bag
Or anything else.
Determination makes you confident and really good for the match otherwise if you don't you will not be no good.

Sonia O'Sullivan (born 28 November 1969) is an Irish runner from Cobh, County Cork. She was one of the world's leading female 5000 m runners for most of the 1990s and early 2000s. Her crowning achievement was a gold medal in the 5000 m at the 1995 World Athletics Championships. She won silver medals in the 5000 m at the 2000 Olympic Games and in the 1500 m at the 1993 World Championships. She has also won three European Championship gold medals.

Katie Taylor is an amazing athlete and unstoppable as the worlds top female boxer. She has a dream of boxing in the Olympics for Ireland. This will be the first time this was done in the history of the Olympic games.

Her energy and personality makes her an inspiration for girls, and people everywhere in Ireland and abroad. She was the world champion boxer in 2007 and 2008. She is a triple European champion boxer and captain of the Irish female team. She represents her country Ireland at the highest levels.

Katie Taylor is from Bray Co. Wicklow. She started in boxing in 1998. Her coach is her father Peter who was a champion boxer and her mother is a boxing referee.

On October 31st 2001 in the first officially sanctioned womens bout ever held in Ireland.
